Damped Harmonic Motion

In this section of the experiment, you should design an experiment to measure simple harmonic motion. There are (at least) three different types of system you can simulate using Interactive Physics.

1. Mass on a Spring.
2. Simple or Physical Pendulum.
3. Torsional Oscillator.

We will illustrate damped harmonic motion with a mass on a spring; however, you can choose either of the other systems mentioned above for your experiment.
